IYA Leadership Institute

The IYA Leadership Institute is an exclusive program that selects a small cohort of exceptional high school juniors annually, offering a powerful combination of college access support, leadership development, networking opportunities, and career readiness training. Through intimate 1:1 collegiate coaching, tailored workshops, events, and professional development, IYA Leadership Scholars are primed for acceptance into elite undergraduate programs and internships, setting them on a trajectory for remarkable academic and career success.

During my time at IMPACTdmv I found my true strengths. I was paired with the perfect writing coach for my style and ideas. Coach Alex was able to help me adjust my college essays and perfect the topic I had chosen. IYA has helped me learn to take constructive criticism and work through my issues. The only thing I could hope for is more time to connect with my coach and learn from her to better develop my skills.
